Design the scoring contract here. Once scoring begins, edit through a new version rather than changing history.

Version 1Locked by scoringReady for scoring
Scoring has begun on this version, so its scale levels, dimensions, and descriptors are immutable. Create a new version to keep the rubric lineage or clone it into a separate rubric.
Rubric frame

A short purpose statement keeps scoring decisions aligned when multiple reviewers use the same rubric.

Rubric type

Choose what the rubric records during future scoring. The matrix keeps the same descriptor workflow for both modes.

Developmental scoring later records the selected scale level for each dimension. Keep labels focused on achievement levels and developmental evidence.

Scale Level columns remain editable for matrix headers and future scoring choices.

Paste-friendly matrix

Rubric matrix

You can paste a rubric table from Word, Excel, or Google Docs directly into this matrix. Paste one row, multiple columns, or a full table. Start in the dimension title cell if your first pasted column contains dimension names. The Missing / Unscorable option is configured separately and does not need its own pasted column.
